Enhance Water Management on Your Farm with Water Security Agency at Canada’s Farm Show

As the new growing season approaches, water management remains a key priority for Saskatchewan farmers. Canada’s Farm Show Regina, SK, presented by Viterra, is bringing expert insights on responsible drainage solutions to help producers improve efficiency while protecting wetlands, managing floods and maintaining water quality.

Drainage is an important tool for Saskatchewan farm efficiency, profitability and resiliency. And just like any other tool on the farm, understanding how to use it responsibly is important.

With the 2025 growing season on the horizon, Bayer CropScience Inc. is set to return to Canada’s Farm Show Regina, SK, bringing forward the latest innovations designed to help farmers grow with confidence. From cutting-edge fungicide and seed treatment solutions to high-performing hybrid lineups and new herbicide resistance tools, Bayer’s presence at the show will showcase how its industry-leading portfolio helps farmers maximize productivity while managing risk.

Innovations on Display

Bayer will highlight a powerful lineup of new and trusted solutions to help growers increase efficiency, protect their crops and optimize return on investment:

  • Canola Fungicide Digital Pilot helps take the guesswork out of farming with in-season tracking on sclerotinia disease risk, crop stage development and recommendations for the optimal timing to make sclerotinia fungicide applications. Growers can gain confidence that they are spraying only the parts of the field that are at risk for disease, saving money and maximizing their return on investment.
  • Raxil® PRO SHIELD is an all-in-one cereal seed treatment that combines trusted disease protection benefits of Raxil PRO with Stress Shield, to protect seeds, roots and shoots against wireworms and early-season environmental stressors. The all-in-one water-based formulation is easy to apply and clean up, saving growers valuable time and protecting their investment.
  • DEKALB® has a high-performing, reimagined hybrid lineup that delivers on what growers demand most. On top of high-yield potential, every hybrid comes standard with Straight Cut or Straight Cut Plus, a powerful clubroot and blackleg disease package, earlier maturity and is treated with BUTEO Start for superior flea beetle protection. In addition to the DEKALB 900 Series TruFlex® hybrids and the New 800 Series LibertyLink® hybrids, see the high-performing 400 Series TruFlex® LibertyLink® hybrids. DK401TL joins the series this year as the highest yield-potential DEKALB canola ever.
  • HuskieTM PRE, for the first time in Western Canada, offers farmers a powerful group 6 & 27 cereal pre-burn tool to tackle groups 2, 4, 9, and 14 resistant kochia. A potent addition to Roundup® brand herbicide applications, this combination provides farmers with a powerful, fast-acting, and consistent herbicide resistance management tool going into the 2025 growing season.
  • Delaro® Complete: When it comes to the Bayer fungicide portfolio, there is not a crop, farm, field, operation, environmental condition or even a budget that Bayer can’t address in its portfolio of products. Delaro Complete added a third mode of action to the already high performing Delaro, which enhances disease control. This includes group 11 fungicide resistant anthracnose and ascochyta biotypes. Bayer market development trials have shown Delaro Complete has the highest return on investment in the market, proving itself as the leading solution for lentil, chickpea and pea growers to incorporate into their disease management strategy for 2025.
