After 140 years of memories, milestones, and moments that helped shape the heart of Regina, REAL District is looking toward the future designed to bring us together.

What started in 1884 as the Assiniboia Agricultural Association has evolved into a central gathering place in Regina. Each event at REAL District connects people through sport, entertainment, business, and agriculture. REAL has always been more than a venue — it has been a gathering place where community comes to life.

REAL welcomed over 60,000 fans and visitors to the Brandt Centre in the first three months of this year. Memories were created with Mother Mother, Jelly Roll, Harlem Globetrotters, Riley Green, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, and Regina Pats games. Plus, thousands more came for the Spring Home Show, trade shows, meetings and conferences, Canada’s Farm Show, tournaments and games throughout the rest of the District.

As the pages of January, February, and March turned, REAL began looking ahead by embracing change with a renewed commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and economic development.

By the end of 2025 REAL District will have drawn 4 million visitors from around the world, hosted a staggering lineup of major local, regional, and national events, and supported over 10,000 sports games and practices. Events like Queen City Ex, Canadian Western Agribition, Canadian Futsal National Championships, First Nations University Powwow, the Skills Canada Competition; concerts like Keith Urban, Jon Pardi, BTO, and Darius Rucker will have created countless unforgettable moments, bringing us together, and creating connections with the community.

Those connections and memories will have brought people, their families, friends, and colleagues to Regina. Visitors to REAL District support over 10,000 local jobs and deliver over $300 million into our community.

The future will see REAL continue to host local and national events on the District, create new partnerships, continue to deliver memory making events for all, and focus on sustainability and accessibility — all while keeping community at its core.
